And to be clear, sugar dating is NOT (in many cases) all about money and sex. It can also involve real affection, real connection, real fun and shared experiences outside the bedroom and the bank etc. Indeed, in the best cases (imo) all of those elements and more are present. So, even if her interest is sugar dating, it can still be the case that she wants to really date you.

I wasn't saying that it was "the norm", but I wouldn't necessarily say no.

Let's say I was 23 and I met this 21 year old that I was really into. If I asked her on a date but she said she couldn't afford to transit to the place I wanted to take her, and asked if I mind paying the transportation fee. I would be willing to consider it. In my opinion it is no different than me driving to her house and picking her up in a car.

The thing that would kill the deal is if she asked for pocket money...

Yeah, been there and am glad for it, but they aren't typical Americans. Typical Americans will hardly even leave their country; about two thirds NEVER leave the US even once, not even to Canada or Mexico (adjacent countries).

ok, by "jobless guys" thread, i was thinking that really is it so important for you to give 20$ for the transport fee to a girl who gave you good sex, or even nice company? Of course if she was a mess, unpleasant, you dont give her nothing... but if she is cute, kind, funny, if she please you... for me its even a pleasure to see her leave me with a smile! im a moron may be ok!

And btw, a taxi fare its not a Louis Vuitton bag!

You (OP) sound really naive when it comes to women, which, when you meet a gold digging bitch like her for your first date isn't going to end well.

This is supposed to be a "date" from what you said, but she wants paying to date you?? If that doesn't make wonder just what she likes about you, then you are kidding yourself into believing she actually likes you.

She wants transport fee and some pocket money for a date, ask for her agencies website so you can read reviews from the last guy that paid to fuck her.

Buying women drinks, offering them taxi fare at the end of a date and not bring a cheap Charlie can be part of dating. Paying up front before she'll date you is prostitution.

This would be normal for a sugar arrangement. For regular dating, not so much. Women like this are, while not commonplace, definitely not entirely unusual in Japan. I've run into a handful over the years.

Hearkens back to the 90s when Tokyo girls were rumoured to have a string of boyfriends....

Honmei-kun (term from horse racing meaning favourite) their main guy
Kiipu-kun (Japlish for keep, as in keep in reserve) the backup to honmei-kun
Mitsugu-kun (tribute) a guy who's kept around for presents or money
Ashi-kun (literally foot) the guy with a car who could take them places
Benri-kun (useful) the guy who knew how to fix or sort things - also sometimes called Koodo-kun (cable guy) if he's kept around for tech support.

Basically, she was trying to set you up as Mitsugu-kun.
