Japan Opening Up? From April 8, 2022 | Now October 11, 2022 - Normal Tourism.

In my gym the lifting racks are like 3 metres apart from each other. Masks mandatory.
The only racks worth lifting should never be apart, period. Rather forward facing and with an uncanny jiggle that tests the muscle in the center pocket of your pants.

My gym is … somewhere in the residence , dunno where exactly , not interested :)

My gym is just wear a mask all the time whilst you are there. Its not that hard.

I am so freaking strong that I need all the oxygen available when I am lifting.

I mean I could have two of my favorite girls hanging on the bar when I am squatting, that's how strong I am.

And now you know the reason I like tiny girls. Then again in the treadmill I am fine with the mask, standing still on it while looking at my phone.

Alright, after another week here in Kyoto, there's definitely a difference to be felt. Maybe not so much in how many more foreigners are here (unless you run into a goup tour of 20) but the fact that I am now spoken to in English in restaurants even when I use Japanese to order stuff, which is more funny than anything else.
