If you can successfully make money by buying stocks on a Covid-19 induced low and then selling on a Covid-19 certain rebound, you will be doing the obvious. History has shown that people doing the obvious are always punished by the markets. If you want to make money in the marlets you have to see what others don't see.

I read a thread on Reddit today. A married couple both university professors. The wife was asking for relationship advice because she found that her husband had a collection of porn photos of one of the students from her adult site.
I’m surprised that people are suggesting she report her own husband to the school. My opinion is if she doesn’t like it delete that stuff & talk to him.
Just looking at the photos is way more innocent than what some guys would be doing.
That dude is screwed!!

And nobody seem to care the student has an adult site in the first place?! It’s really not like he stole pics from her or forced her to pose for him!

You can always rely of getting the best possible advice from anonymous people from the internet.

What would she report though? Wife: Hello police, my husband has pictures in his computer he has collected from a porn site. Police: Please take a number lady and go to the end of the line. It's five blocks that way.

They are trying to say the husband shouldn’t be in a position to grade the student or make recommendations for her. They want the student removed from his class.

Why? With the same logic a famous porn star couldn't go to any school at all as every teacher has seen her naked.

Less now, more later! But in my opinion, the stocks that you should already have I’d you don’t are killing it! But oil stock has dropped enough that it would be wise to buy in when you can clearly see bottom. Could be now, could be in a week, but bottom will come and then the rise will begin.

And people thought Trump would be the reason for the recession.

Ken, think more later! You can handle a little dry spell!

Played it a lot when it first came out. Downloaded it again recently. Seems way too simple now, just infect everyone (ie spend points on transmission only) and devolve any mutations that kill, then once youve infected the world under the radar, increase the symptoms quickly.

Maybe my investment strategy is more efficient than yours. I can say this: if you think that this is not an opportunity, then maybe you aren’t an investor yourself. And some investors invest in ways that limit there losses in times like these. Some do Forex, and I don’t but I can imagine some Japanese dude making a killing right now while others complain about losing money. Or have something to say about people like me that invest a dollar a year into penny stocks!

Frustrated being stuck in Japan. So scared to travel, due to corona awareness. (Inside Japan was OK. Went Kobe for my business trip last month.) Anyone struggling with this feeling??? Also, scared of accepting traveller clients, to be honest... we should ask where they are travelling from, got tested or not, by other meaning...

I’m not really scared to be honest as long as you stay informed about everything (staying a way from fearmongering media is a start).
As long as you are healthy and don’t have any underlying health conditions, I wouldn’t worry too much. Wash your hands regularly, wipe your phone with alcohol wipes every so often and if you are on an airplane/Shinkansen, wipe the table and display too.

If we had taken your advice and bought last week, we would have all suffered a very big loss. This has been a text book example of when buying on the dip, because you think it is an 'opportunity' fails.
