i even saw somewhere he is tempted to pardon... himself. Which apparently is possible. You guys really have a wonderful governance system ...

A request for a pre-emptive pardon should be treated like a confession.

I haven't been following closely .... but the "pre-emptive pardon" seems like something out of the North Korea/China/Russia/King of Thailand rule book. I assumed it was some half baked legal scheme invented by Rudy that had 0% chance of flying. Totally bonkers!

well if it works they should do really ugly stuff BEFORE then... if you receive a « get out of jail for free » card, better to make it worth
Personnally I’d pay well-endowed guys to rape in public all the people who pissed me off, then have them « écartelé » (french word, not sure the english equivalent) also in public then burnt at the stake (just in front of a VIP audience this time). Then i’d pee on their ash.
Then I would have a nice guilt-free life , full of love and light :)

thanks. using 4 horses attached each to an arm or leg and then made to run in opposite directions , a great show for sure . the guillotine was way too humane imo

That would be interesting. I mean it's ages since I have seen four horses at the same time.

Overly complicated.

it might be just a legend ...
But the Écartèlement as I described was the real deal back in the good old days . I think the guy who killed Henri IV died that way

Yes, that one's been around a long time... the Franks and Burgundians used it to execute Brunhilda back in the 7th century.

Finally, an article from AP that mentions #45’s mental decline: https://apnews.com/article/joe-bide...ia-elections-71d5469ac0bbccbfe601528a2517b239

25th Amendment, anyone?

I know as of recently the 25th Amendment has been tossed around in the mainstream media by idiot pundits so it's become some sort of hot topic for people wanting to get rid of Trump early, but it's quite obvious that none of them know what the 25th Amendment actually is. I'll make it easy for you: Trump is not going to be removed from office via the 25th Amendment.

What most people are inadvertently referring to is Section IV, or the forced removal of a sitting President. Members of the anti-Trump swamp in D.C. (Jim Comey and pals) actually tried this and it failed. It basically requires the sitting Vice President to transmit his wish to remove the sitting President to the President Pro Tempore, who then transmits that order to the Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader, which would then both have to approve a vote for removal in Congress. Both Houses would then require a 2/3 majority vote to remove the President.

Setting aside the glaringly obvious fact that Trump will be gone in a little over a month so going through a ridiculously strenuous process that would take more than a month and would fracture an already fractured and divided country in the middle of a pandemic to do something that's going to happen anyway before that entire devastating process would wrap up...

1) The Vice President is Mike Pence. He's not going to recommend his boss be fired.

2) The Pro Tempore is Chuck Grassley (Republican). He's not going to recommend POTUS be fired a month before he leaves.

3) Nancy Pelosi may approve a vote for removal in the House, but Mitch McConnell is never going to approve a vote for removal in the Senate.

3) The Republicans currently own the Senate. Hell will freeze over before you get every single Senate Democrat, plus almost half the Senate Republicans, to vote for removing the President a month before he leaves.

4) The Republicans are only a handful of seats away from taking the House majority. Hell will freeze over before you get every single Democrat in the House, plus almost half the Republicans, to vote for removing the President a month before he leaves.

That said, the topic of the 25th Amendment came up recently because Nancy Pelosi began mentioning it during interviews. Morons who know nothing about politics and procedure automatically began howling that it meant she was going to use it to somehow get rid of Trump. However, anyone who works in Washington could see it for what it really was, and it's really not a surprise.

Joe Biden is obviously suffering from mental/cognitive decline and very likely has either early-onset dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. Nancy Pelosi and the far-left faction of Congress (AOC, The Squad, etc.), who already hate Biden for being a stubborn moderate, were setting the foundation for removing him and installing Kamala Harris as President because she will be very easily controlled. I don't know if this plan is still in the works, after the devastating congressional elections last month that saw the GOP hold the Senate and gain 13 House seats so far and possibly a couple more. You're now seeing calls from pissed off moderate Democrats in Congress to "shut up" and "never again" mention Socialism, or all the other retarded shit that retarded twats like AOC are pitching, because they're terrified of losing the House majority in 2022 (which they likely will).

All I know is, I'm honestly, sincerely rooting for Joe Biden to make it for the next four years. "President" Harris and The Squad running the show will put America on the fast track to being the next Venezuela.

... and that’s why Hugo Chavez masterminded it all from his grave: to be the next President of the next Venezuela!

If Joe Biden is the alter ego of Hugo Chávez, you could be right....

yeah that’s probably what that nutjob lawyer Sidney whatever meant... Hugo Chavez soul took possession of Biden’s body. It makes more sense now. Also the fact that he’s simultaneously described as senile/retarded AND the mastermind of a super sophisticated multi-states multi-million votes fraud. It’s all so obvious now :ROFLMAO:

Vice President and majority of cabinet agree to send letters to the president pro tempore of the senate (Grassley? Is he still sick?) and speaker of the house. VP becomes acting president at that time. President can override it but the VP and cabinet can hold it off for four days. With a compliant house, they could drag it out for another 23 days.
Agreed that this is not going to happen but if the VP and cabinet acted, and Pelosi played along, they could “lock out” Trump very quickly and keep him out for about 27 days.

frankly it’s not like he’s doing much anyway, apart from golfing and ranting and launching lawsuits which get laughed at in courts...
Just someone make sure the nuclear football is not left unsupervised and the world should be ok till Jan 20

But that was my point, Mike Pence would turn gay and burn bibles before he attempted some sort of coup in the last 40-something days of Trump's presidency. And I actually think that even if hell froze over and that happened, Pelosi wouldn't push it through the House. She's fucking crazy but she isn't stupid. No sense pissing away political capital to bring about the inevitable. Right now the Democrats need to do everything possible to shed the image of being a party full of radicals and communists if they want even a whiff of a chance at winning the GA Senate seats, and even then that won't be enough.

On a more interesting note, the 2022 House races are already shaping up but the real fun is going to be 2024. People close to Trump are hinting that he's going to officially launch his campaign for the presidency in 2024 sometime before Biden is sworn in. In the meantime, my guys in D.C. have confirmed that the RNC is already laying the foundations for Nikki Haley to be the GOP candidate. At the same time, Jeff Flake is making overtures about a possible presidential run, but would more likely have to settle for a possible VP slot, but that's not going to happen because the party wants someone young, male and Latino--I'm hearing that Marco Rubio is being given an obligatory look-over, but a growing wing of the establishment wants Jeb Bush's son, George Prescott Bush, to be Haley's running mate.

All I know is, if the GOP can't figure out a way to deal with Trump--or even worse, they piss him off to the extent he goes and forms his own party--he could most definitely pull a Ross Perot and fuck us out of the 2024 election. That means a full term of "President" Harris. And that would mean the kind of damage to America that even the most imaginative of terrorists could never dream of.

And that would mean the kind of damage to America that even the most imaginative of terrorists could never dream of.

well, over the last 4 years the whole world (or the « free world » at least) saw that America’s prestige abroad didn’t really need terrorists to be hurt...
My own forecast is that the GOP will support Trump again in 2024 , they are too shit-scared of his wrath if they don’t. But I may be wrong and I hope I will be wrong.
