Well, hopefully there might be some reviews and a wider selection of girls as I'm going to Japan in a few months. If there's no FS, I might as well just head over to Yoshiwara instead.
Barubola is expensive like 60.000 or 70.000 yen. If you've read anything cheaper it was probably just the bathing fee..also Barubola (I understand that's not in Yoshiwara)...
With that budget I would consider lovely hand for hj or a pink salon.
The thing is, the reason I'm interested in soapland in the first place is because it's something that's very specific to Japan. I don't really need to spend any money at all to get something that I could get everywhere! With that budget I would consider lovely hand for hj or a pink salon.
Good question. It does seem that price of the established does not always depend on how nice the rooms are.Thank you all for the great thread, which is extremely informative, particularly for a first timer!
I see there is a lot of talk about the service, but not so much about the facilities themselves. May I ask what place has the best and most luxurious facilities and rooms? For me environment is as important as the services; I have no budget limit but it's not easy to understand what place(s) would be nicer.
You will find most rooms are basically more or less the same. Points where things can be different are room size, bathtub size etc. From what I remember, Putit Royal, Last Scene and Hishojitsu have had the biggest rooms.Thank you all for the great thread, which is extremely informative, particularly for a first timer!

but a number of them don't accept you if your Japanese is bad.
Putit Royal would also accept foreigners with bad to no Japanese from what i have heard.I followed this table for accepted foreigner, but a number of them don't accept you if your Japanese is bad. I can understand and get by, but I have a natural stutter so it makes me sound more retarded speaking.
Is it possible to track which ones accept those that don't speak Japanese well? it would help a lot. So far Darling harbor accepted me.
Thank you for this reply. sorry I was not clear, I did go to Dolce and Charmant and got turned away when the counter guy started talking too fast for me.Putit Royal would also accept foreigners with bad to no Japanese from what i have heard.
Kings club also, they dont have a very good reputation though.
There was a place with a foreign male staff, kinpeibai if i'm correct, so if he still works there they could assist in english.
Sweet kiss has an english website so i assume they are totally foreign friendly. Satin doll would maybe also work out. Landmark seems ok. I think Don Juan (shinjuku) as well. But those last three are top price.
Not in Yoshiwara or central Tokyo but Paradise in Kawasaki is totally aimed at foreigners.
It seems that most of the "amateur" type shops who often have younger girls at cheaper prices do require Japanese language ability.
Examples would be Charmant, Dolce, Cream Lemon, Mister Dandy.
I dont think you can get into those.
I suppose it could be added, but I would be totally relying on user reports and fact of the matter is that everyone's mileage may vary. My official stance is please try to learn Japanese. I am now also officially "off the market" which means no more p4p and a less active presence here.I followed this table for accepted foreigner, but a number of them don't accept you if your Japanese is bad. So, I'll be traveling to Tokyo next month to try out a Soapland for the first time. I was wondering if I could have someone here to help me set up a visit for a good time (if that's even a thing). Maybe just meet up near the area and guide me through things y'know?
I've been doing meticulous research/planning on board posts on venues & reviews, but I'm not entirely confident of my very basic Japanese. So I'm afraid of being turned down, overpaying, and/or receiving terrible service. I read too many stories about people walking into their anticipated venue and being offered only the one option of a gaijin-only girl faaar below their expectations.
If it matters: I'm an american east-asian male in my 20's.
I'll gladly buy you dinner or a beer ... or pay you I suppose lol. Or hey maybe we can make a guys-night-out of it and hit up the night-life afterwards.
Overpaying is rare imho. Just check the pricing before you go. You can't really be guaranteed a good time no matter where you go but if you stick with something safe like Darling Harbour you should be fine. So, I'll be traveling to Tokyo next month to try out a Soapland for the first time. I'm keeping darling harbor as my go-to safest option. But I'm trying to see if I can aim for someone specific to my liking. Also, fat chance but I'm also currently trying to inquire about seeing Rena Fukishi (a JAV star) at l-mark, for whom I'm willing to throw down more than double the price for. From my email exchanges though, doesn't seem likely to happen (popularity, membership, preference towards previous visitors, etc).Overpaying is rare imho. Just check the pricing before you go. My price range is the normal value that I'm seeing (20 k to 30.5 k). For the most part, I'd like to have someone there with me to help me negotiate. I read a number of reviews where guys 'pretend to walk out' or sweet-talk their way to more options/gals, and it'd be nice to have someone there with me with since I'd probably blow it attempt to do so myself. I'm not trying to sound entitled lol; I'm very aware that as a first-time visitor with limited speaking skills, my options are probably limited. But if anything, having a peer with me will at least give me some peace of mind if nothing else hahaI'd be down if I was still in country. But really, just get into the district (if you need direction just ask if you need that too) look carefully and at some of the reviews here. It's okay to mess up on Japanese, some guys at the shops try their best to talk English. Sometimes you gotta roll the dice. What's your price range like?
