That's the best thing to do. It'll get you more excited for the event, and you will learn how navigate the experience, assuming you are new to it.
Lots of unique things in soap to learn, such as unstated rules or the flow of the process. It's a pretty awesome, but a scripted experience, and if you learn the dance, you will have a better time.

Above all (this is aimed at newbie readers, more than you @Ric Flair ) don't try to replicate what you see in porn / AV without confirming it's on the menu for you as a foreigner in that shop, and assume it is not an option for you /anyone.
Things like raw fs, finishing on the girl, deepthroat, choking, is not regular and only happens in some shops. Trying it without confirming beforehand is a great way to get tossed out on the street without refund, spending time with the police, and most likely being one of three strikes (or one) for us gaijin in the shop, or traumatizing the provider. Be good and gentle, when in doubt.

This is advice I personally need to use more: stop trying to schedule things for right when I land so that I can then spend the rest of the day for plans. Last time, I got absolutely lost in the subway system and completely blew my appointment. This time, even though I pushed my appointment an hour ahead and the plane landed an hour early, I still barely made it on time (after setting my stuff down and brushing my teeth/showering for the first time in 16 hours). Luckily for me, the boiler was broken so my original time wouldn’t have worked anyway

Hello everyone,

I landed in Tokyo at the end of last week and I was thinking of discovering the soaplands but after discovering your forum by chance a few days ago, and having read the main topics concerning these places (approximate age of the girl, almost impossible to choose the girl, often abusive use of photoshop even in stores, appearance of the Gaijin tax, etc...), I unfortunately discovered that it would be very complicated for me to try this experiment, especially since I don't speak Japanese (and English is not my native language).

Rather than paying the exorbitant "gaijin tax", I prefer to spend this money on bringing an additional escort to my hotel.

Although I will when I walk around Yoshiwara and contact in parallel, based on the list on page 1, different soaplands to find out what they are especially in terms of prices based on the list on page 1, think you that it will be possible for me to try the experience without breaking the bank, and on the condition of course of being accepted to enter, or is it better that I don't waste my time with that ?

I am guilty as charged with photo's, will remove photo's from my reviews.

Regarding details, I guess she need to stop working all together if thats an issue.
Japanese sites are as or even more detailed than TAG. Not to mention other foreign sites.

If photos appear on a public diary or other reviews, they are fair game.
I'd otherwise get permission to use photos that aren't otherwise publicly available.

I don't want to see anyone stop seeing outlander barbarians but this walking on eggshells routine is a bit grating sometimes, as if working girls were this fragile. Did she really want to service foreigners in the first place if that's all it takes? Meh.

Kowai nee indeed. As if there weren't a thousand nastier boards with true Yamato blooded gentlemen in it.

edit: of course saving images is another matter entirely as Danbo mentioned. I have avoided embedding them on my reviews for that reason

Cityheaven is publically available but states on the diary pages that you shouldn't save images of the girls for privacy reasons.

Of course that doesn't mean it is legally binding, but it's understandable that girls are not too happy if their photos are saved and uploaded somewhere else. They can get rid of their profiles when they retire, but photos uploaded elsewhere stay.

Like she said in her follow-up tweet, My Girl pics aren’t fair game. Fairest game of them all should be twitter since that’s the biggest, most general website

She just says she was told about it - it could well be from another girl at the shop - plenty of the girls google themselves.

But she has a point, a quick look and she only has clear shots of her face if you register her in "my girl" on Heaven. Posting those photos (or any of the other "my girl" photos from any girl is a bit of an invasion of privacy, when she clearly prefers not to post a clear face shot. It's also against CityHeaven TOS.

I think we all need to be considerate about where we're sourcing photos from.

Maybe post a link to the page instead of the photo directly in the future.
Like Twitter or CH diary.

I broke that promise as a City Heaven user but have now fixed that mistake.

Except for my International, Gingira Erina and Bijin Lab/IKKS Ako reviews all other has had their illegally downloaded images removed.

I also removed the ones attached to some old reviews of mine. The profiles are linked at the header anyway, so people can check out how the girls look like if they are still active..
Less to worry about and leaves a clean slate when girls decide to graduate.

Agreed, it was a mistake on my end to add them to start with.

As an individual who put the provider's first it was the only right thing to do, pity I didn't see that clearly when I started writing reviews.

You can search in Japanese, they readily pop up in basic search terms.

Ah, that's not good. I think I know the review in question. Looks like the moderators have removed the images 👍 I hope she stays safe.

Was staying in Yoshiwara a couple weeks ago and saw a few of the providers at IK. One of them mentioned being nervous with customers who couldn't speak in a language she could at least understand--which unfortunately has been a trend lately. Not attaching images to reviews would be best practice. But I also think it's also on the shop's tencho's and staff to screen customers against the girl's preferences too.

Currently in Osaka revisiting some of the Shinchis and have noticed Tobita being rowdier than last year. Almost saw a street fight tonight.

Would totally suck if the crowds affect the current decent vibes.

Set up some appointments for my visit in a couple weeks. Found it interesting that one provider at Segretario wanted payment 2 days in advance and another only wanted 1. Doesn't really bother me, I'll be in the area anyways. Eager to get some more review writing material!
