Just posted my first review based on this format. Added a few other elements I found helpful on the now defunct myredbook.com site.

Would be terrific if there was a review thread just for Yoshiwara. Also would be terrific if the review form data could be captured into a searchable database similar to myredbook. (For those of you not familiar with Redbook, it was focused primarily on the Bay Area of CA and was wildly popular for many years until taken down by the Puritans in the US gov a couple of years ago. It's the gold standard of review sites IMHO.)

Some years ago I used to visit Prima Donna. Later on they switched to big companions with oversize tits and I stopped.
Should you have only one chance, where would you go to have a young, slim, regular tits size companion?
I have checked the websites of Satin Doll, Last Scene, Aile D'Ore and Emerald Emperor. Despite the other body measurements seem to be standard, I still see that most of the companions have huge tits and I am afraid that this can hide big (if not fat) bodies.
I am not looking for a perfect 90x60x90 top-model body, just a regular Japanese one.
Any advice?

I would recommend darling harbour or blue lagoon. If you're lucky you can get a girl as young as 20 or 22.

I wouldn't really call them huge. I guess you have very different view of what huge is. A Japanese D cup is rather small imho.
Big breasts is a major plus in soap as they work really well during mat play.
I don't really have a recommendation at this time, but I'll try to get back to you. Maybe check out the rosters of the school girl cosplay type shops.

Maybe you are right and I could have lost some "proportions" when comparing Japanese sizes to European ones.
I know that big breasts are a plus in the mat play, I am only worried that they do not come together with big bodies. Maybe I am just overdoing my fears but my last visit to Prima Donna was really disappointing, at least imho

I have a question: why are there so many chubby girls in the sex industry in Japan? Especially given that the average Japanese girl is pretty slim, but if you go for a cheap sex service, or one where service is more important than looks, big chance you'll get a chubby girl.
 
This was back in January /February, but I can confirm that Honey Collection and Honey Company are fairly biased against foreigners. Some background. I'm Japanese-American (full, not ハーフ), look it, and can speak decent Japanese, but sometimes get caught on inflection mistakes. Unknown vocabulary tends to trip up my responses as well. Anyhow, I probably need to write up a review sometime, but my experience went something like this.

Visited Honey Collection around 11am and no girls were available, but one girl was available from Honey Company. I get escorted to Honey Company and aaaalmost slip through and they figure out I'm a foreigner. Seems like the girl is cool with it. Anyhow, I do my thing and then head to work. Later that afternoon I tried to book a girl from Honey Collection for the next day over the phone. The guy picks up I'm foreigner (happens more often over the phone) and says they don't serve foreigners. I tell him I was just there this morning and gave him my name and number. He confirms. Then he says "Yeah, but you must be big down there..." I say, "No, I'm Japanese-American. I look like a Japanese guy." I push back a bit more, but the guy won't budge.

So, visiting may help, but YMMV. Definitely have a back-up plan if you are thinking about checking out Honey Collection or Honey Company.

Thanks for the info. The size thing is stupid but I'm sure it's rough if you are having sex for 12 hours per day.
I've gotten the impression that the more petite the girls are the higher the risk of getting turned down because of size.

Karen is highly recommended from Satin Doll. There are 2 reviews of her here in TAG. My Japanese friend living in Tokyo speaks highly of Mimi as well.

Does anyone have comments on Rothenburg? Going to Japan this September and this will be my first time going to a soapland. I know its a bit pricey but I've always wanted to have an experience with an older woman and all the women on their site look great. If not Rothenburg, I was thinking either Last Scene, Putit Royal, or Kinpei as alternative options, but I'm probably going to go twice anyway.

Be aware that Rothenburg's pictures are taken by a photographer who knows how to do his job, many ladies are already in their fourties. The rooms are very large and their interior is classy, it's like a usual upperclass soapland, just with more experienced ladies.

The photos do seem accurate though based on a video interview I saw with one of the ladies, but you can't trust the ages in the profiles at all.

I do have another question though. How come there are so many soaplands that are unknown on the list for accepting gaijins? Do you veteran guys go to the same soaplands everytime without trying the other ones?

There are almost 140 shops, it's hard to canvas them all, especially for me who doesn't live in Japan. I was hoping for other people to investigate but most people viewing the forum are probably visiting for the first time and they want tried and tested shops, so the intel isn't flowing in. I do appreciate the contributions so far though.
Also many veterans probably choose to keep good info to themselves for various reasons.

The usual Yoshiwara-age-equation is accurate though.
Apart from that, when new girls enter the soapworld they have to pay for mattress lessons, photographers etc. by themselves, Rothenburg employs a different system where every lady pays a small fee per working day which is then put into a common account used for such expenses. Totally useless information for us customers though...

And what is the usual Yoshiwara age equation? I've never managed to find a consistent system that seems to work.

I guess I wouldn't mind trying out one of the unknown shops. My Japanese is good enough for basic conversation. Although I've never had a conversation on this particular topic. My biggest worry is being blown off when they find out I'm a foreigner even though I'm half.

Good luck. I know that some of these unknown shops are on and off about waving in foreigners.
