So I wanted to visit a soap or deriheru next week but I have a predicament. Basically I have a health condition that makes me high risk to corona and I'm wondering if I shouldn't go. It's not a BIG health risk but I'm just a little higher than average.

On a side note I feel like izakaya and bars are more sketchy in my opinion.

Well shit - not good. Heal fast man. And if symptoms get worse go to the hospital sooner rather than later.

Oh man take care brother! If I may ask Is it because you visited one of those or you have no idea?

Take your meds, rest and heal. Please quickly check with your doctor if you’re feeling any worse.
Wishing you a quick recovery, mate.

I'm staying home pretty much now. No asthma or other internal problems (unless no heart counts) that I'm aware of.

I’m sure you know this. But kick in the vitamin c, d, and zinc. At the end of the day, we catch it or we won’t. Can’t live in fear, and can’t live like it doesn’t exist. Get well soon.

Well, just don't go and do something stupid like die on us. After all, that'd be one less person to argue with and I need to keep my bullshitting skills up to par for the 2022 election season.

But seriously, a number of my friends have come down with the 'rona, and the loss of taste and shortness of breath have always been the telltale symptoms and indicators of a potentially rough ride ahead. Even if you actually caught COVID, if all you're experiencing is mild fever, body aches and chills then chances are you'll be beating off to Justin Bieber music videos again in less than a week.

Well some good news on this Monday then!

Over the weekend I also heard the lovely lady who was my neighbour in the Old Continent was not feeling good and went to get corona test. They also wanted to tested her husband (72 this year) even he didn't have any symptoms.

To the old lady they said she just has the common flu. But to the guy they told he has corona and has to be quarantined for two weeks. The guy spend the whole time surfing porn in the internet feeling just perfectly healthy.

I had something similar in May: no taste, light fever, caught and headache. In the end it was not coronavirus but I spent three days in hell thinking about the worst. Take your vitamins, drink a lot of water and relax. As other guys have recommended here, If your fever jumps up and you're having trouble breathing, call an ambulance without hesitation. They know what to do. Take care of yourself and get well soon.

Japan (Tokyo in particular) is exploding with cases right now. If I were you, I would hold off until Spring (likely when things will calm down). Everyone I know seems to be coming down with something, even if it's not covid, and you probably don't want your immune system to be in bad shape this year. I don't think Soaplands or deriheru are more dangerous than any other sort of unmasked outdoor activity, but the recent spikes have got me pretty paranoid. Also @just4fun, wishing you a speedy recovery and that you don't become the literal version of your profile pic.

37.1 today. Slept 10 hours solid. Sweated a pinch. Feel fine but hearing stories of this lasting with some folks for ages......hopefully not me. The Ward I live in has given me the green light to rejoin society but don't know if I really want to. PW seems fine and her immune system is a mess.

Sounds you are getting over it pretty well! I would still stay in bed (resting, not fucking! :p) for a couple of days after the fever is totally gone.

We probably have a few hundred million people infected by covid19 globally this far so it is pretty normal we get some stories about people who have long lasting symptoms. So I would not worry about that too much.
