Everything 90's

There was this famous german film also from the 90's; "Run Lola Run"
This film made Franka Potente famous (she appeared in the Bourne Identity and Supremacy, and in the TV Series; House

I absolutely loved red-haired Franka Potente in that film.
She was very good in Bourne Identity. I would hitch a ride with her, too.

I should still have the originals of those two issues...

Me too. My X Men #1-6 vol3 is still in its mylar pouch at home. also knight fall and death of superman. I also have the x-men fatal attractions arc (including magneto 0). And other random comic books.

I agree with you.

Bourne 1 & 2 were good (especially the fight scenes---I seldom see arnis in hollywood movies).

For me Bourne Supremacy was the best among the three. At the end of that film I was wondering what drove Jason to such lengths to go to that russian girl. Apparently, he wanted to tell her how her parents really died and apologize to her.

Also released in the 90s is my favorite Bill Murray movie: Groundhog Day.

In the lines below, TV weatherman Phil Connors wishes his day was different.
Phil: I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl. We ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters.
Phil: *That* was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get *that* day over, and over, and over...

Here’s an explainer:

...hmm there are times that I wish I could relive one day over and over...

I still believe in dreams of having you around.
Too bad memories
feed the mind and not the heart
where I want you to be.
So I ask myself; what you have left behind for me
to go on each day to live
as if I have you once again.
What else is there that's real
but all the pain that I feel?

So let the pain remain forever in my heart
for every throb it brings
is one more moment spent with you.
I let the pain
bring on the rain
if that's the only way...
if there's no other way
to be with you again...

Let the Pain Remain by Lea Salonga

Can you honestly tell me you didn't lip synch to this song in front of the bathroom mirror? Because I can't :D
Oh, not just the bathroom mirror! :)
(And then « i do my little turn on the cat walk, yeahhhh »)
The fishnet t-shirts for men are an abomination though, makes me cringe each time !

Man, that cuts deep.
Probably a dangerous song to hear when one is out drinking and lamenting about a relationship gone sour.
But I get it. Love scars.

Here’s another song from the 90s: “Stay” by New York-based singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb.
The video was directed by her friend and neighbor, the actor Ethan Hawke.
It’s a favourite of an ex. Go figure.

also from the 90s; Sarah McLachlan 's "I Will Remember You"

Her song "Angel" is more famous.
But I will have to say goodbye to someone in the near future...so "I Will Remember You" is appropriate

A classic!

Many movies of one of my favorite actors of all time.... Robin Williams who had a successful career as an actor.
Who can forget his performances in famous movies such as: Awakenings, Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Good Will Hunting, What Dreams May Come, Patch Adams, Jakob the Liar, Bicentennial Man...

Who would thought that someone who made million of people laugh suffered from depression. Life is so ironic!

How about this?

"The Simpsons" was still good back then. ;)

That show is still running. Wow. I didn't realise. I still remember the uproar over Bart's negative influence on young children.

I forgot to add; Johnny Bravo

He is sooo obnoxious and full of himself.

It is a bit ironic that i got my styling cues from him (minus the blonde hair) when i'm wearing casual clothes...

Titanic went down into the abyss and for the next twenty years people commemorated the naval tragedy by singing Celine Dion's song in karaoke with their above average voices
Fatal Attractions pt 5 - Wolverine 075-38.jpg

Next to comic books (above is a page at the end of Wolverine #75 -- Logan says goodbye to Jubilee -- pencils by Adam Kubert)
