Looney Tunes French Politician

the other I remember was my English teacher, we used to call her Pocahontas because she looked like her. She once called me after class ended to tell me to stop trying to seduce her reminding me she's my teacher and it's too embarrassing. I didn't know what to say cause I've never really tried anything and wasn't expecting her to say that.

Translation = "Please go ahead and seduce me already, kid!"

president, not prime minister.

also she's his official wife whom was his high school teacher, it doesn't mean that he doesn't enjoy sexy ladies in his unofficial life.

I'm sure, when he's in Japan, he would secretly search for some high class escourt,,to enjoy hot sex, but if Justin Trudeax asked me for bbbj, I would love to do whatever he asks me to do! But not for sex...haha.
I wonder anyone served CHOO VIP by any TAG ladies...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Well he would not be the first French president getting hot sex in Japan... and no need for escort I guess :D

Well, his nickname among people who don't like him is actually Macaron ! (Although I think Yuriko just did a typo)

Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to "don't like abt him", still very curious base( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
And never know, he might be curious abt escorts in Japan, or he gets it for free, as kind of hook up..( ̄▽ ̄)

Who the hell is against macarons?

Ok, I guess it's time to start a separate pastry thread.

hmm?? Did you call me??
Even the one from familymart, is yummy! Wonder where would be the best Macaron? Dalloille?
Macaron looks a bit like pussy...

With adding a word, funnily makes a completely different thing. But still stays in a food category.
Macaroni..lol.

So just before the French news blackout began, there was a massive hack and document dump of Macron information. As of when I write this the blackout is still in effect and voting is already underway in some French territories. Whatever the result, things promise to be interesting!

It seems obvious that Macron is going to win, it even seemed obvious to Le Pen herself as, during the debate, she was asking him about the prime minister he's going to chose as if she knew he was going to win.

Well everybody said the same thing about Hillary... but we have a less screwed-up system. 2 in the last round , and who gets the most votes win. Simple.

that's true, I never took trump seriously as a candidate.

I'm not a big fan of the 2nd round system, that forces most people to vote the one they hate less than the other instead of voting for one they really want. but the french system is definitely better than the american one which is not a direct one.

Yes, thats why i wrote "less screwed up", but no system is perfect, granted. Voting for who you really want is what 1st round is for. 2nd round gives some kind of legitimacy to the winner , even if you dont really like him / her.

it's not more legitimate when he's being voted for by default.
but as you said no system is perfect.

Well sometimes I think the "he got out from a royal vagina first" system was not so bad after all... :ROFLMAO:

like a qualifier for a soccer tournament and then the final :D
Yeah but if the royal offspring screws up he gets his head cut. We should have put that system in place way before 1789!

If you believe in conspiracy theory like that, this French election is far more interesting than the last US election.

It seems obvious that Macron is going to win,

At this point I would not put money down on either side.

but we have a less screwed-up system

Reminds me of what you said elsewhere about French stand up comedians not being very good...

I'd like Le Pen to win so that her audience stops fantasizing about her projects and realize her speech is only based on criticizing the current system and the other parties.

It's easier to point problems than offer a solution and the debate with Macron has proved she doesn't have any realistic solution to propose.

So I wouldn't bet a cent on her. I wouldn't have betted on Trump either but I have the feeling french people are more politicized than Americans and the show part isn't as important in France.

Yes I agree but the whole point here is to mention that Trump was NOT elected by a majority of the American people, thats all.

10 years ago or even 5 I'd have said the same thing but with FN getting elected to various local/department positions and actually governing, today I'm a lot less sure of it. Its not that I think Marine Le Pen's economic ideas make any sense at all. If elected and if she gets some of this stuff done, its going to hurt France and Europe for sure. But I think she's not so easy to discount any more even as you say.

10, 20 years ago maybe less, but the show is important there too, its part of human nature. That plus the situation for domestic voters has changed quite a bit over time.

Why is that a major point? We should all know by now that the election system doesn't require that.

Obama lost the popular vote already in the primary in 2008 so he was not voted even by the majority of people in his own party. Don't remember anyone crying about that though.
