I can't find anywhere else to post a review of a love hotel, so I'll post here:
The idea of reviewing love hotels has been knocking around this forum for quite a while now, but so far has lacked organisation. Perhaps a new form could be created, similar to the escort review form I’ve necessarily had to adapt here, and placed in a new section which might be named, with stunning originality, ‘Love Hotel Reviews.’
To get the ball rolling then, I present my review of Hotel Perrier.

Hotel Perrier is located about 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station in the Kabukicho area. Be warned, however, that it is outside the free zone offered by JK Style and OL Style, so if you decide to use this hotel you will be charged an extra 2,000¥. However, if you are looking for rooms full of big mirrors, Hotel Perrier is a good choice.
Although tucked away in a little side street, I found this hotel quite easily with a little help from Google Maps. From the outside, it's nothing special, even a bit shabby, but nothing ventured nothing gained, so in I went. The lobby is standard, with a big touch screen from which to select a room from photographs which are illuminated to indicate availability. Having already seen the room photos on the website (above), I chose Room 505. You pay at a little window with a drawn shutter. The receptionist doesn't see you directly. I checked in just after noon on a weekday and paid 7,900¥. I asked what my check out time was and the receptionist said 8PM. I like service time!
The room itself was large and spacious, very clean, with no hint of cigarette smoke smells. It had all the standard amenities including a kettle and a fridge (but no freezer), plus a karaoke box and microphones if you and/or your date are so inclined. However, the reason I wanted to try this hotel was for the mirrors. Usually, love hotel mirrors are small, just over the sink, or frosted and utterly pointless. Hotel Perrier is a voyeur's paradise!
As you can see, from the few photos I took below, there are mirrors everywhere! A wall of mirrors beside the bed, a mirrored ceiling above the bed and above the separate sofa area, even the toilet has wall to wall mirrors. The only room without mirrors was, oddly, the bathroom, which featured a large jacuzzi bath with TV and a rubber mat and pillow for those soapland lovers out there. Needless to say, my date and myself put the room to the full use for which it had been designed
Inclusive of the additional JK Style charge, the room set me back 9,900¥ for 8 hours use. A little steep, but if you are into mirrors, it is well worth it. I will repeat!
