Well, even Biden is admitting he'll basically be a temporary president. His short term will basically amount to The Sopranos Season 1, where Tony installs Uncle Junior as "boss" just to keep the senile old man happy and paint him as a target for the feds while Tony actually runs the gang from behind the scenes. The scary question is exactly who will be running the Biden admin. I've said it before, the most troubling thing about a Biden presidency is that a whole cadre of radical leftist activists have already infiltrated the Biden inner circle and are already dictating his campaign platform. If the leftists have successfully infected the entire Democratic establishment, and the Democratic party owns the WH, House and Senate (which they are projected to after November), they won't piss away this opportunity to "fundamentally transform" America like Obama did during his two years of outright party control in Washington. And they've made clear what their agenda is: criminalize political opposition, dismantle the Constitution (especially the 1st and 2nd Amendments), open borders and no more immigration laws or law enforcement, defunding law enforcement and military, legalizing third-trimester abortions, free shit for everyone who isn't white and/or successful and then a 90% tax rate on anyone who makes anything remotely resembling a good living.
But there is some hope. The upside to Biden's obsession with choosing a black, female running mate is that he probably chose the absolute worst black, female running mate in the country. Kamala Harris is smart, sharp and capable, but she's also an awful bitch with zero redeeming personality traits that everyone around her hates and couldn't even get to the first democratic caucus before her campaign imploded. People just don't like her. If she were a man, she'd be that one massive douchebag at the office that the rest of the office tries to ditch after work for drinks at the bar yet he just can't catch the hint and somehow always seems to find out about the get-together and invites himself to tag along. Even her own father can't stand her. And from a political operator's perspective, that creates a huge opportunity for a GOP comeback in 2024...which is why the campaign to unseat her in four years is already underway. I would also assume the RNC has begun plans for a "Tea Party" type movement in 2022 to take back Congress, like we did in 2010 when we destroyed Obama's hopes and dreams, whooped his ass and won back both houses.
So then the question is...who does the GOP enlist as its 2024 candidate? Mike Pence will be old news by then, and to be honest I don't think he wants the job. All the young, smart and capable guys (like Paul Ryan) have deserted D.C. for greener pastures and happier lives. Or do they try the "woman of color" strategy? All I know is, if they can convince Condoleeza Rice to throw her hat in, I'll come out of political exile to work that one.
