It's a situation similar to basketball, when one is standing at the Foul Line, about to take a Foul Shot. The opposing fans are screaming all sorts of things - including insulting one by name. It's at that point, one tunes-out the noise, nails the Foul Shot and silences the crowd. HaHaHa!!!

That is not entirely true, my friend. When the Democrats have won in the past, most Republicans said "Oh well, there's always next election."

When Republicans win, various Democrats have a meltdown. After the 2016 election, some of the most entertaining items on YouTube were all the "crying videos." They were highlights stitched together from news coverage and Bedroom Feminists' videos. They were still circulating in 2018.

i hope you’re right... I remember however all the birther nonsense after Obama won ... but granted most Republicans are not like that. They elect people like that though, and watch Fox News which is obviously fair and balanced in its assessments of the opposite side

IIRC, it was Senator Hillary Clinton that started the birther nonsense during her 2008 campaign. However, when Republicans picked up that banner, I found it amusing. I was hoping that someone would eventually say publicly, "Just joking! Now you know how we feel about the 9/11 conspiracy nonsense."

Please keep in the mind that the creation of Fox News was necessitated by the Liberal stranglehold on the Main Stream Media (MSM). Still, if the MSM was a rugby pitch, Fox News would be a 名刺 (business card).

Your reference to SCOTUS - is that regarding the possible replacement for Ruth Bader Ginsburg? If so, perhaps you find it upsetting, but I don't have a problem with that. Politics is all about seeing how far you can push the envelope. The liberal dominance of the US media has allowed the Democrats the set the narrative with impunity.

The problem is that its not at all the reasons his friends put forward (for not voting) in 2016: back then it was all about « waiting for the people to decide , in an election year » with big tremolos in the voice and « its all about principles » BS talk :ROFLMAO:

In Europe some people went to doctor to get medical leave for mental reasons after the 2016 elections because they were so depressed about the WW3 now starting. You can't make this shit up.

Here is an example of what irritates me about the dominant liberal MSM:

One incident stands out in my mind from Election Night 2016, when a blubbering apparatchik came wandering out of the Javits Center. So, a reporter started asking her questions and this apparatchik started whining about the market being shut down etc. etc. etc.

The reporter merely encouraged that behavior and probably gave her tissue or maybe chopped an onion to produce more tears. This lady probably didn't know the different between the stock market and the Hunts Point Produce Market. She probably would have parroted the comment if someone muttered darkly about the weakness of the Jets' corner backs (it's because Trump won).

A true journalist would have asked questions. Oh, you follow the market? Do you like Growth or Income? Are you a momentum player? Do trade options? How did you feel when US markets dropped after President Obama was re-elected?

A true journalist would have asked those questions, but the reporter on the scene didn’t. Instead, he or she allowed that apparatchik to blubber on and fuel the victim narrative the MSM was pushing that night.

i agree with you about left-leaning media being not exempt of BS. And the preachy/whiny/victim mentality/double-standards of Socialists in France is exactly why I can’t stand them

but in the US over 20 years it seems to me that the GOP and Fox didn’t counter that BS ... they just adopted an even-greater BS strategy , and whiny/ double-standard tactics even more shameless. Lying and spreading BS conspiracy theories is not even a problem now, its part of the job

Well, that known fact was written and published by a green party activist herself. She told she was feeling really depressed and went to see a doc who gave her sleeping pills and commented "You are not the first one here. After the election results several people have been here to get medical leave for anxiety". The conclusion from the writer was, unsurprisingly, that she is fine herself, it is just the world that has gone crazy.

You don't have to make things up to mock them, they are just fine doing it themselves.

The host for Biden’s CNN town hall meeting was Anderson Cooper. It shows the poor state of the US media. Cooper wasn’t given the job based on ability or gravitas.

I'm happy. Chris Wallace was the only journalist with the motivation (and/or nerve) to ask President Clinton his reasons for not doing more about Usama bin Laden and al Qaeda. Rather than answer the question, President Clinton had a meltdown.

Its easy to say "oh it doesnt matter who wins" cause most likely, you live in JP and well since it doesnt affect you directly, then it doesnt matter.

But what about the people back in the US?

Lets call a spade, A Spade and not a cutlass. It is safe to say that America has done well under the Democrats. Current Republicans dont give a shit.

Under the Trump Admin, its anything goes. no ethnics, no optics, no nothing. fact checking is non existence. So much rage, unemployment numbers going up,

The citizens dont get a shit about public health. Put on a goddam mask? nope. 200,000 deads from Covid 19. Need I say more?
