What music do you like to listen to?

A bit of Amy Winehouse in the background.

Do you think a "clean" Amy would have been great in bed? She stares at you in the crowd, beckons you to the stage, and tells you she fancies you ....are you up for it?

WFMU! Upsala college station? If it's the same I've got an interesting history with them.

Lots of Tool offshoots over the weekend..........

It's the same - probably - I just don't know its legendary years as a college station. It's been independent since the college closed. I love their playlist, listening to the streaming through their app.

Upsala's gone? Wow. Well, nothing lasts forever......it was a great radio station.......and sounds like it still is.

I think Lady Gaga is a good example of someone who’s early music was very good but i can not care for her recent work.

She's just making bad buying choices

Just now...

“ I ...don't know ... just where I'm going
But I'm gonna try for the kingdom, if I can”

VU , Heroin.

Heard that song dozens of times and I’m still puzzled by that “kingdom” reference Lou Reed put there.
Oh well , he probably wrote it under the influence of the stuff he’s singing

Lou Reed was a pos as a human Being in the dealing "I" had with him.

Oh, you have a different question. Can't help ya there.

Yeah well I thought about that , there are other religious references in the song (“Jesus’ son” etc) but still makes no sense. Unless it just means afterlife here.

It has been an extra rough week at work, so I’ve been jumpstarting my day with an hour of brisk walking around my neighbourhood early in the morning.
One of my go-to tunes on these walks is “Here Comes The Hotstepper”, a 90s hit from Jamaican dancehall artist Ini Kamoze.

Great song and...great boobs. The Jordan, or the dead sea, is pretty much warm even when it's snowy in Jerusalem.

Man ... that traditional spiritual song takes me way back. I remember hearing a male singer’s version at a diner in Houston, the day after I saw Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley and Scottie Pippen lead the Rockets in a game against the old Vancouver Grizzlies.

Now, Bob Dylan « just like a woman »

She takes just like a woman, yes, she does
She makes love just like a woman
And she aches just like a woman
But she breaks just like a little girl

I will see your Dylan and raise you a Brent TAG Anthem:

You know, I think I recall an old little ditty that might just be the perfect theme song for TAG....

GnR’s « One in a Million ». Not the most Politically Correct song , for sure...

Kenny G as mood music when I’m with an escort. Otherwise Bruce Springsteen or Latin mix.

And if I need a picker upper 1812 Overture (always used to listen to that (with the volume cranked up for the finale) before a game during my football (soccer) days....

Bringing up food with all of these so called "songs/Artists".

Heading to the office for another round of excruciatingly dull meetings over the weekend. But it’s a living, so I shouldn’t whine.
Anyway, the coffee wasn’t kicking in, so I’m glad I checked out this live performance of American gospel singer Yolanda Adams.
She sings an old favourite, “You Bring Me Joy”, in a tribute to the song’s original performer, the great Anita Baker.

Enjoy!
