Yesterday one of my regular in Tokyo asked me out of the blue to take a test for mycoplasma:blackeye:

I did a google research...It seems that mycoplasma is not included in default test packages, and even if I got inflicted, chances are there' no symptom:blackeye:

The girl insisted that she's clean, saying she just wanted me to include it in my regular checkup package. But I noticed she's been absent from her shop's daily roster for a while now:banghead:
 
Fortunately ureaplasma and mycoplasma (actually all 5 of the identifyable infections commonly lumped in as NSU) are easily treatable once you know you've got it and which one. Unfortunately as you say they are not in standard panels here and symptoms can be quite mild or asymptomatic (my ureaplasma infection had no urination discomfort and only a very tiny morning discharge smaller than pinhead size - cured with a 10 day course of doxycycline/vibramycin). They're even not universally considered STDs as well, as they're actually present at low levels in many normal genital tract flora.

Hello guys,

Been reading your post about Ureaplasma.

I had to deal with it quite recently a couple of times, as it seems that I might have contracted it from one of my regular partner (nothing to deal with my very limited mongering activities that usually all about massages+HJ).

As said above, it is really hard to say if it should be considered as a std or not. Some recent researchs are even questionning it as a pathogenic agent.
By the way I'll ask you all to excuse my spelling mistakes on this kind of subjects as English is not my main language.

Anyway the symptoms were very mild on my side. A bit of a sore urethra, not much discharge so I would discribe it as a discomfort more than anything. I had Chlamydia a looonng time ago once and as far as I can recall it (not really something you want to remember but well :p), it is nothing comparable to that!

In my home country, they screen you when asked for two separate kind of Ureaplasma: urealyticum and parvum.

The treatment as said involves some doxycycline for about 9/10 days and in my case it was gone the second time.

Living in Japan for the moment and in the last two years, I just wanted to stress that they usually DON'T screen here for ANY mycoplasmas. Neither the Mycoplasma Hominis and/or the Ureaplasma's. I had to convince my partner to go to a local doctor to prescribe her some Doxycycline so we could solve the problem.

Once more I'm not a doctor so this is just my average experience but to be honest, I was quite shocked about the whole no-screening thing as in my country it comes as a package. FYI Mycoplasma hominis is considered by some doctors as the next big STD...

I read the forum as a ghost and i just have made a big mistake yesterday.
The second round was BB and because i was into it i didn't stop (girl from Hipness). Since i am a bit stressed. What kind of procedure should i take to check if i am completely ok?

As said above, wait for a couple of weeks. See if any symptoms appear but don't over touch/manipulate/wash your private to clean it or check if something is wrong every five seconds.

If you're beside that in a regular relationship, no matter what it is, avoid sex for the moment. Make up something that makes sense. I'm sure you'll find something that works!

What is done is done. So don't stress even though it's easier to say than do!

Yeah. I feel like if a condom breaks or a mistake is made the first thing most people do is freak out thinking they have HIV. The reality is that, especially with a legit shop where girls regularly test, you probably have less to worry about than some random slut from the club.

And just keep in mind with HIV, your chance of getting it from vaginal penetration, even if she happened to have it, is actually extremely low. Again, not trying to advocate not using condoms but if it breaks or something, just keep calm as at least with HIV... you can assume you are probably ok as long as it wasn’t anal.

There are several that can be transmitted that way, most notably HPV, which can cause throat cancer - ask Michael Douglas. Herpes is quite possible, syphilis is possible if there is a visible syphilis chancre. The others are extremely unlikely.

Regardless, go to a damned dentist.

Bleeding gums may be a sign of gingivitis. When was the last time you went to mechanical cleaning? Some people require dental cleaning more frequently than others.. with or without p4p if you don’t get treatment for prolonged periods of time it may lead to complications so please see a dentist.

If you are sexually active I highly recommend the HPV vaccination. Gardasil protects against the strains which cause cancer.

I have a question...

I'm still virgin. Never had vagina/anal sex before and I don't plan to, unless I find my soul mate. But as a reckless youth, you are tempted to try out things you can't try with your future wife. One of the things that I want to try so badly is rimming in a threesome.

And That is why I don't do or receive any oral until me and said partner get tested. It's one thing if it's porn, because they're always getting tested. Even so, you still can't be too careful.

I knew my post would sound confusing as I'm not getting proper responses from some of you here. So, I'm going to be more open and clear about it.
