Law of averages. Everyone has a batting average/success rate. If you get too many 'yes' in a row, you know you will start getting 'no' soon. Vice versa. Many PUAs are happy to get thier "NO's" because they know they will get "Yes's" soon.

You seem to have a very poor understanding of statistics and mathematical theorems. First of all the law of averages you mention is not a law but a layman's misunderstanding. Secondly if your events are not correlated then your current streak doesn't affect your next try. Even if you get 42 heads in a row with coin flipping the next one is still heads with 50% probability. Thirdly if the events are correlated then it makes sense to assume your streak continues, not vice versa.

Hahaha - There are so many ways to reply to that.

You should buy a lottery ticket. Every time you don't win you are getting that little bit closer to winning.

But be careful... Every time you get a yes, you are getting closer to that psychotic bitch who will chop your balls off while you sleep.

Typical of sexually depressed people. You thought I was talking about the same girl who said no? I meant the chance of the next girl saying 'yes' is greater. So sad....
Im a woman myself and think I know the inner workings of my fellows females. I 100% garantee you hate woman because youve been rejected so many times youve come to the conclusion its a them not me problem. More than one person here has already pointed out how creepy and screwed up your viewpoint is, but you refuse to back down. Have you ever even touched a woman?

Be careful not to anger them now, it is said their Yu-gi-o cards are more powerful than the whole nuclear arsenal of the U.S. I heard they can destroy universe and time itself with their cards.
I think I found him!

You are assuming no skill is involved like a coin flip or the state of the woman does not matter. Funny. For someone who is supposed to be a math genius making uninformed assumptions about PUA is a sin. A PUA knows his average from thousands of approaches. Its not a coin flip.

Is this typical of P4P? The world does not revolve around you and the next thing everyone hates women? Big baggages....

Your world must suck to be worrying about psychotic women. What have you done?

Some people can't help themselves and go off topic. Can't believe you're tongue-tied and talking about Yu ...what?

Of course you have no idea of the law of averages.

Hee hee...that one is too good to be true! :ROFLMAO:

Care to guess how much I have been paid per hour to advise client corporations and government agencies on statistical issues, based on my professional credentials and expertise in statistics?

I'll give you a hint; it is in the same general ballpark as what some of TAG's higher priced indie escorts charge for an hour of their time and service.

Care to guess how much money casino gambler's have lost because they share your misunderstanding of the "law of averages"?

Here the hint is that it is A LOT more than everyone on TAG will earn in their whole lifetimes combined. (Not that I know the number in this case.) What you are saying is called the Gambler's Fallacy for a good reason.

I find your reading and comprehension skills are even more lacking than your math skills. I did not make any such assumptions, which you could know if you actually read my reply. But then again it is more probable you are just trolling; no real PUA could be as insensitive as you are claiming to be.

Precisely so of course, but the thing that always puzzles me about this particular misconception is how the people who believe this common but weird misunderstanding of statistics think the coin knows or remembers how it landed last time or the last 10 or 42 or whatever times. Do they imagine that the coin is thinking, "Whoa! I just came up heads 12 times in a row; I'd better come up tails next time before things get too out of balance!" I mean, seriously...really. How could what happened in the past influence the coin...or dice...or roulette wheel...?

Perhaps we are drifting too far into the area of personal attacks, which are forbidden on TAG, as opposed to attacks on what a poster says.

Personally I think I've had enough of this thread. Imo, @4vibes posts do the PUA "movement" much more harm than good, and there is little point in rebutting them; they rebut themselves.

And, in any case, I am too overrun with NYC SBs at the moment to have time for any more of this. I'm Wwexiting this thread.

It seems you may know about numbers but not performance. Performance is not arbitrary. Its a known number that is reliable. Again lying by misquoting. Typical liar.

Just stick to your coins. You can't understand how a basketball player can shoot a certain percentage. And it's not Russian Roulette.

You did make an assumption. You equated PUA skills to the flipping of a coin. Wrong. PUA requires skills and produces measurable results. Some unpredictable events with the PUA and woman affect results. The events maybe unpredictable but are known. Over thousands of approaches a preditable result can be expected from a range of approaches. You can not compare apples to oranges.
