I am basically trying to understand the ‘love and affection vis-a-vis money (security)’ in a relationship between a man and a woman. My posts are in that direction.No offence to anyone.I am sorry if I hurt someone through my posts.

"Gold digging" occurs within the scope of a personal "relationship". Your not in a personal relationship with your doctor, dentist, shoe shiner, real estate agent or escort. There professional service providers. You hire them to perform a service. They perform the service, and you pay them the agreed fee. As soon as they have finished servicing you, they deal with the next client.

Well, there is no « relationship » , that’s the thing. You could become friends , maybe, like you could become friend with your hairdresser or dentist, I suppose, but that’s it.

With a Sugar Babe it can get a bit more murky sometimes but with an escort it’s rather straightforward : you book, you pay, you shower talk and fuck, you leave. My motto is "if you are not sure then take it as a compliment".

"You are not my type" sounds a lot like "normally I wouldn't book your type of a girl but you as an individual seemed so great I just had to make an exception".

I agree it's not the most elegantly formed compliment in the word but not all of us are good with words and seeing a stunner in front of our eyes sometimes makes even the best of us, well, stunned. :p

I'm short, but I've only been with a couple of girls significantly taller than me. Both times were great, and there was the added excitement that comes with having a rarer experience.
The first time though, I must admit I was a little apprehensive, because it wasn't p4p, and my low self esteem was screaming at me that she would rather be with someone taller. It's true that 99% of straight women prefer a tall guy. It's not usually the main factor for attraction, but it does play into it. To what degree it does varies from girl to girl.
All that to say that I agree. It's definitely off-putting to hear from your partner that they prefer someone different, especially just as you're about to get into it.

Watching a movie has nothing to do with reality. Lol...that's like trying to understand relationships by watching a few romantic comedies. Come on :hungover:

Like a lot of user before have said: Falling in love is a horrible idea. Maybe there are super rare cases where this worked out, but that's maybe below 1%.....so don't count on it and try to keep emotional attachment out of this.

This doesn't mean it all boils only down to business.......you can still have a very good customer relationship, maybe a bit of a friendship. In the best case chemistry is good and it feels like both sides enjoy their time, maybe you have even similar interests so talking is a lot of fun. You can enjoy somebody's company and still respect each others private life without falling in love.

**Rather than "friends" maybe "mere acquaintances" is a better description. None of my hairdressers/barbers or dentists have become my friends. They don't call or email, or send me Xmas cards or buy me birthday presents, or have drunk sex with me, and I am not expecting any of them will attend my funeral. Not being picky,...just spelling out the bleeding obvious to those who may need it.;)
